About me:

Yes I still think grad school will drive you to drink... But now I am a PhD candidate and in four years I will be done. I am not sure how Derek ( my wonderful husband) puts up with it all. But he is my rock and my laughter! Yep I am a very happy and lucky girl. I also think I may be a masochist to want to continue on in school, but one day... One day I will be Professor Johnson, and that will be cool. In the mean time I am teaching at both UW- Milwaukee as well as Carroll College (very soon to be Carroll University). I LOVE what I do and can't wait to get finished with school and then we can start our family. But until then we have the kittens, friends, family, and each other!! ..

    Hey, sorry for the late response. Exam time. I am sure you are insane too, Its just as stressful for the Profs! Italy is wonderful. It is one of my most favorite places in the world. The food is excellent and the people are wonderful. Just learn a couple of pleases and thank yous in Italian and they will love you.

    Right now I am in Lexington, Virginia finishing up at Washington and Lee; one more year. My mom and dad are back in Chesapeake. I hope to end up there, it is home. Wis-CAN-sin =), sounds great, I have always wanted to take a road trip out to that part of the country. I have never been, but my friends from Wis and beyond says there is no place to compare. Ill just make sure its during the 2 months without snow! =)
    Social Activism, huh, well I bet you have plenty to study in the last couple of years. Are you working on anything now?

    Well right now I'm in law school at Washington and Lee, but before that I got my MBA after working in banking for a little while. Got out just in time! =)

    Congratulations on your marriage! You two look very happy together, and I am glad to hear your parents are well. I cant believe you are all the way in WI! How do you like it there?

    What is your PhD in? I have often thought about teaching law or business one day, after getting a bit of experience. It seems like a perfect gig, summers off, count me in!

    I was just thinking the other day about you when i decided to look you up. I had Cornish hens at a friends house for dinner, although this time I didnt get sick all over their bathroom. Hopefully, I have grown out of that stage.

    When do you go back home? Or are you already back? I'm moving back to VA next month, Luke and I are getting a place together and fingers crossed getting married soon. We've been doing the long distance thing for years now and it stinks. I graduate on the 12th of Dec., so i'm hoping to find a teaching job there!

    You know me I always have issues.lol. I just don't have a job right now. So its making things hard, and causing stress with Chris and I. But over all we are okay. I will tell him to cut the stach.. I hate that thing... but its his face. Overall we are all very well. Ammie is living with me and helping so... its goingto be okay.     Uhhh Like YEAH!, I had 2go2 the emergency 24hr clinic and get my blood drawn n so far they've found nothing. And the lady was a married older white lady and her rec'file was clean too.
