Jimmie Carter, I think he was the only honest president we've ever had, at least in my lifetime. The Freedom of Information Act is one of the most important pieces of legislation that was ever passed. Too bad it's been gutted by Reagan and Bush Sr and Bush Jr. Now Obama has partially restored it and seems to be doing some other good things.

Birth of Ne Zha
The magical child is born at a time when dragons were terrorizing the kingdom.
One dragon sets the villages on fire
another blows in fierce snow storms
another destroys things through terrible winds
and the last sends in horrible tidal waves.
The people had been offering sacrifices to appease the dragons.
NeZha sees how the dragons are exploiting the people
and tells the poeple not to make the offerings.
The dragons fight back with avengence
but the immortal child takes care of them.

How can deep valleys hold those northern branches,
Year by year growing and adorned by flowers late.
High aims and easy poetic appeal, how do you know?
At a time ice and snow are piled high.

When snow flakes dancing in the wind, they stand imposing,
Most morally courageous among all flowers.
When time pass they will floatingly take leave,
Be ashamed to ask mercy of the warm spring wind.

They come early just to welcome spring,
So lonely but not suspicious of winter cold.
Afraid to come behind all other flowers,
When nobody will take another notice.

Plums are seen by amazing brushes,
Pines and bamboos should be known for being so real.
Hundreds and thousands flowers are just acquaintances,
Only these three are close friends during winter cold.
