Running Uphill originated in Findlay, Ohio in the early part of 2006. Chris Baney on Acoustic/lead guitar/vocals, Eric Kerns on acoustic/rhythm guitar/keyboard/vocals, Ryan McClintock Bass, Britt McClintock Drums/Percussion. Starting out as a worship band at StoneBridge Church of God, Running Uphill began writing originals and booking gigs after two years of being together. Running specializes in heart compelling ballads and teenage relationships, mixed with alternative rock. Their first album "Counterintuitive" debuted in 2007 represented fourteen songs. Since then, Running has continued writing and playing and has played over forty shows. Running Uphill prides itself in crowd participation and interaction, but most importantly in lifting up and worshiping their Lord and Savior. He is the one who has blessed them with the talent and given them each opportunity to perform and rock.While attending a show, you could experience anything from head-banging to slow-dancing. R.U. hey thanks, currently i'm the only one still interested in playing shows. The other guys just recorded a few in a song or two and i wanted them to get credit. I'm looking for people to fill the roster to play some shows and stuff. I'd love to jam with you guys sometime. let me know
