About me: I am the bass guitarist for the Chicago based thrash metal band ASYLUM. I have been playing the Bass Guitar for quite some time now, and it is my true passion in life! Groove is Everything in my world! There is nothing like laying down a thunderous ripping bass line with some of the baddest drummers and guitarists on the planet! My friend Markus Johansson (Lead Vocals/Lead Guitar) and I (Bass Guitar) started this band and began working on this album back in early 2006. We are in the finishing stages of completion, hooray! It's been a slow, but phenomenal experience so far, beyond a dream come true, and words cannot express how grateful I am! And all this was accomplished without any label support whatsoever, although that would be nice to finally enjoy seeing how none of this is exactly cheap...ha! ASYLUM's debut album is being engineered by Grammy nominee Bob "Doc" Pucci. The album will be mixed by Grammy nominee Ulrich Wild, best known for his mixing/engineering work with DETHKLOK, SLIPKNOT, STATIC-X, PANTERA and WHITE ZOMBIE. The CD will be mastered by Tom Baker, who has worked with bands like NINE INCH NAILS, MARILYN MANSON, MÖTLEY CRÜE, WHITE ZOMBIE and VELVET REVOLVER.
