About me:
4WD: THE LAUNCH is the first ever 4WD event! It's an anti-violence awareness event for the youth of London.
4WD is a new youth-led movement that wants London's young people to unite and realise that WE ARE THE FUTURE. 4WD aims to inspire, inform and empower young people so that we can make positive life decisions, reach more of our potential and become assets to our communities.
4WD: THE LAUNCH is focussing on the issue of violence amongst young people. We want to make a statement that violence is not a neccessary or acceptable form of communication and expression. Instead we will be promoting positive forms of expression such as music, dance, comedy, media, fashion and drama.
Free taster workshops will be run following the event and you will be able to sign up for these on the night.
There will be short and informative presentations from Paul Obinna, Operation Trident, UK Youth Parliament and a mini documentary brought to you by the infmaous Pixel TV boys.
Numerous youth organisations, services and charities will also be present to offer advice. Choice FM's Peace on the Streets Campaign will be doing giveaways and 4-realproductions will be a doing a poetry competition to win a mobile phone.

VENUE: the Concert Hall, Fairfield Halls, Croydon
