Gabriel Yaiva is Dine' and Hopi, a father, one of the top Native hip-hop artist/promoters in North America, a community activist and a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a B.S. in Applied Indigenous Studies and a minor in Economic Development.
Currently he is the marketing specialist for KEYA Earth, a Native owned sustainable building company that is working on sustainable/healthy economic development. Additionally he does marketing for many independent companies including the Native American Heritage Markets at the Grand Canyon, AZ, PERCUSSION KINETCIS and Youth Empowerment Services for Dine' Bikeyah.
With all that Yaiva is involved with and his willingness to share his life experiences, it is no surprise that Yaiva is a very sought after performer, presenter and key-note speaker: having spoke recently at the University of Kansas, Environmental Health Coalition in San Diego, CA, at the Grassroots Global Justice conference, Lummi Indian Nations Schools in Lummi Islands, WA and at the Hoopa Sovereign Days Youth Summit to name a few.
