“Oh my god this Indian is brilliant! The lyricism in his prose is both meditative and spastic with distinct half-breed White Mountain Apache/Navajo Flare. Not since Alexie, Silko or Momaday has an Indian come our way screaming angst ridden reiterations of Indians past with such grandiosely trite vocabulary. Antihero seems to write deliberately simple and superficial to emphasize his downtrodden self-image, and romantic love for his people and land. Look out Arizona!”
I showed my sisters the skate film you I saw at PHO and then all of Geronimo, and they were hypnotized. They were really impressed with your work, both the t shirts and the films. I now have to watch out for them jacking my shirts and always being told "I'd be proud of you if you worked on the film Geronimo!"
i did man thanks so much for the bread as well as the goodtimes ill hit u up soon just runnin around crazy tryin to get these jobs but tell the fam i said whats up.
Thanks alot for hanging out--brief as it was--2 weeks ago. Whenever i get the chance to hang out with people i admire(i.e. colleagues), it lifts my spirits, which moreoften than not, are more 'down' than up.
Your pics of Alaska were most astounding, when are you gonna post them?
Long time to see, bro. How are things on your end? I guess our plans to have dinner were foiled somehow but that's okay because I'm sure we'll get together soon, somehow.
One of my friends from San Carlos passed away last Friday and the fam and I are heading out that way tonight. I'm going to his wake tonight then the funeral tomorrow. He was a cool dude,..a pretty big dude too.
Anyway, haven't skated too recently. About two weeks back I had to have my car serviced in Scottsdale and ended up skating up to the park by The Wedge and skated there for the morning. No one was around which was nice but the heat beat down on me.
ha ha ha..... I'm awake as usual...I forgot to close all the blinds so I didn't even notice it was late...till...well....it was too late!
We spent the fourth of July sitting on the beach in the fog, waiting for curiosity to kill some seals. It looked like this...
Anyways.....it was like this all night....and we heard firecrackers in the distance...and we laughed our asses off...cause who shoots off fireworks when you can't see them?! I guess the noise was really cool....or something.... I need to write a really horrible 10 page endless Haiku about that experience I think....I will send it to you and you can critique it for me...
hey man i showed some of my friends the skate vids you gave me, theyve been partially motivated to skate, im going to show up with my board when the weather stops sucking and thatll coax them out of skate-retirement

Hey homie...I was in Phoenix for a quick stop, but I don't know if we're going to make it back or not. I'll hit you up if we're going to head that way. I'll call you anyways and see wus up...you guys want to go to Nogalas??? :o) Hope all is well, my friend. Respect!
