It all started in the fall of 2002. Dave had been playing music with Steve at their church and they were looking to expand into a full fledge rock band. At the same time Chris had been talking to a drummer through some friends, and now you have the original four parts. These four got together and rocked for about a year and a half under the name Modern Day Messengers. After playing over 50 shows together and gathering several fans locally, the drummer felt a call into youth ministry at his church, and stepped down from the band. After trying out a couple of drummers that did not work out, they took a couple of years off. In 2006, Chris brought his brother Zack in to the mix and everything clicked. There was a new sense of creativity this time that brought a new sound they had not been able to create before. Now, after finally finding the right mix of chemistry, they have come together as 5000 Sundays. Everyday we strive to walk in the footsteps of our Savior Jesus Christ. If we can reach one person each time we play, we feel our ministry is a success.
so I'm not gonna be able to go to the concert in Richmond tomorrow Band's got a competition. We've gotta be at South High by 10:30 in the morning and we don't leave to go home from everything until 12 a.m. !

haha I saw Steve today at Lowes. I thought it was ironic cuz I was thinking earlier, "I wonder why I never see Steve anywhere..." and I see him, but I was thinking about Delorean Grey's Steve XD
I was thinking earlier, this is a twosome party. My birthday is actually the 28th and the 6th is my cousin's birthday ^_^ She's gonna be there too so we'll split the cake or something ^_^ My birthday this year is on Sunday so I had to make it a different day and we decided the 6th ^_^
It's gonna be awesome! Everyone be sure to come see these guys at Living Stones in Grundy, VA on Saturday, August 8th! Everything is FREE! Food, admission, and everything! Come out and hang!
Glad to see you'll be coming back to New Hope for Megan's Birthday bash. We have to approve the exact date at our bussiness meeting though, but considering the associate pastor is a fan of yours :) you shouldn't have any trouble getting approved.
Miss you guys, keeping rocking the stages for the rock of ages!
Thanks for taking the time to make Jesus Jam possible. It was a great day and we're so glad you could be a part of it. We'll do it again next June! Love you immensely!
