Bio
Nocturnal 9 is just a project we started a few years back. Having the time to pursue this further would be awesome but as of now its more less a simple pleasure and enjoyable hobby. The songs listed are a mix of both covers and originals. On a serious note we are shooting for a full album of originals and plan for hopefully around August 2010 to start recording once again. Some of the tunes we plan on touching up but in the meantime we present you with what we got so far. ...... The main two key players in our music is me (Shadowdreams) on vocals and the grunch who stole music Mr Fiend of the Dark. Our music and lyrics are reflections of both metaphor and Satanic pride. Our main theme centers around the many sacred cows of Religious hypocrisy and herd conformity. The covers of course are just tributes of what we both grew up to and what has been influential to our musical taste. Since Fiend seldom toots his own two horns I will be gracious enough to do it for him as he is one hell of a guitarist and has been playing for over the past 25 years and got his start in classical roots. Myself, I have wide range of influences and enjoy a cross between blues and metal. I grew up to bands like Black Sabbath, Motley Crue, Wasp oh and the harder tunes of Morbid Angel stuff like that. Some of the recordings were done with abundant supplies of beer and whiskey come to think of it I don't think one recording was done sober but for sure had a great time making the music from what I remember.
