About me: Skate Comp Results.......
The 1st 50-50 Inc skate comp for 2008 went down on Saturday 10th May, just on 20 skaters signed up for the day to compete in the 3 different divisions.
The 16 years and over division saw Dylan "BING" Crosby take out 1st place. His bean plants, blunts and manuals were the highlites of his 2 x 1.5 minute runs. In 2nd place was James Roach who came across from Shepp for the day and threw down his solid quarter tricks, his kick flip to 50-50 was his standout!!. Up in 3rd was Jake Parsons after some nice work on the redge ad rail.
In the 15 Years and Under division it was 2007 Primary Age skater of the year Riley Bracken who took out the honors. Riley's 2 runs were the most tech for the day landing some clean tre-flips, a feeble on the down rail and a back side 50-50 on the redge to name a few. Trailing Riley for 2nd was Jake Cult who threw down 2 solid heat runs which included a kick flip off the bank. Up in 3rd was Shane Murphy.
The Primary age division was completed in 2 x 5 minute jam sessions, these groms went hard and took plenty of falls to show the older guys that they can rip just as good. Liam Reynolds and Brodie McQuie had solid jam sessions with some nose grinds on the rail, a blunt,a cave man on the quarter and plenty of hits on the hip. Liam was crowned king of the primary age division with Brodie coming in 2nd. Ryan Hetherington and Tom O'Brien finished in 3rd & 4th.
50-50 Inc was stoked with the day, a solid crowd of around 50 saw some sweet skating. Thanks to all the skaters who took part in the event. Thanks to all our 50-50 Inc committee members for their time, it couldn't happen if it wasn't for you guys. Thanks to WSS Boardstore for putting up the prizes for the day, most appreciated. Thanks to the Deniliquin High School for the PA system and extra seating. Thanks to the Pastoral Times for plug in the paper. Thanks to the Deniliquin council for the extra bins and use of the park for the event.Thanks to Papercut Unlimited to the Skaters Certificates.
Hope to see every again for the next comp, will be a new format again to mix things up, keep checking the site for updates. Till then....later skater!!!!

hey. i thinnk the comps on saturday? not sure though? and not even sure on the times either? dont even think i'll be goin anymore as i cant even skate without pain in my ankle hahaha sucks.
could be soo much better but it isnt?havent been able to bear any weight on it yet and have torn 3 ligaments in my ankle muscles, but have been told it be good in less than a week or up to 3 weeks? hope i can skate rochester? and drop us a line if u guys are comin down to it aswell? peace out.
that pic of hoopa doing that grind on that rail is pretty good since it was my first time i have ever seen a camera before and i just hoopa going up to the rail right but then a little kid ran over my foot on his bike so i bent down 2 grab my foot (with the camera the my hand) yll hoopa was on the rail a ant was on the camera so i punched it but i most of pushed the botton at the same well luke start yelling at me 4 punching his but when he saw the pic i took he gave me a pair of soe and socks and that how i took the wining photo love peter xoxo
