Coyote's Interests
|
| General | I have a whole world of interest. I'm excited to learn new things and experience new thoughts, interest and music. I have a ham radio license and study, teach, and give presentations on primitive wilderness survival skills. I'm interested in wild edible plants and computer usage. I like to think I have a wide range of interest. I enjoy a play, movie, an occasional meal out, camping, canoeing, attending primitive skills gatherings, hiking, fishing, reading, loafing, draw a little, tinker a little, and what ever you are interested in. I fit in with preppie crowds or primitive skills types. I play the Native American flute and have recorded and sell a CD of my music. I teach wilderness skills at a Girl Scout camp, give presentations for a local Audubon Society, am an instructor at primitive skills gatherings, and give programs at a State Park. | | Music | I especially enjoy Native American flute music and I guess that is probably my favorite. My second favorites would probably be folk and vintage rock. Then again, I like a lot of rythum and blues, jazz, new age, and even some classical on occasion. The site to hear some of my Native American flute music CD is at: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/coyotemusic.
Deliver me from rap and heavy metal. And, I have never done anything in my life bad enough to deserve punishing myself ever again by sitting through an opera. | | Movies | I enjoy a lot of movie types. I'm not big on science fiction. But, when I go with someone who is, I usually enjoy them more than they do. | | Television | Monk is about the only thing I "follow". But, I also watch a lot of documentary and history channel programs. | | Books | Mark Twain. Murder mysteries taking place on Indian Reservations. Wilderness skills magazines. | | Heroes | Horace Kephart. But, I have never been much on worshiping heros. There are many people I admire for different merits. Early on, I decided heros too often let me down. So, I aspire to be my own hero. I've endeavored to build my own character so that I can respect myself. I may not always meet that lofty goal. But, it is always my goal. |

About me:
I'm a settled gent with a lot of interests and enjoying life as it should be enjoyed. Now to find the right lady to share the enjoyment
|
Who I'd like to meet:
A great lady (who doesn't smoke)and doesn't mind a little travel and getting her hands in the good earth. At the same time she needs to be content hanging around the house with a man who appreciates and respects her and works hard to keep her happy. She needs to be interesting enough to be at least as good company as me. Beyond these basic requirments there is a lot of leeway for being herself. Of course, being tolerent of my simple interest would be a really big plus. It would also be a plus if she could feel the spirits of the forest, waters, and land and was at peace with herself and with her world. Sincerity, is a necessity. Someone who can enjoy sitting around a campfire laughing and working out all the problems of the world with a group of friends who are willing to do anything to embarass you and kid you is a great plus as well. If she can get a simple meal together on a camp stove and help pitch a tent, she gets gold stars. If she can do it without complaining, she walks on water and garners my total adoration.
