About me:

I'm a wife (same hubby for 38 years!), mom (Five kids: three boys, then two girls) and gramma (four granddaughters and one grandson, all of whom I love to spoil rotten!) I'm living in WNY again, where I grew up, after more than 30 years away. Sort of adrift lately, trying to connect with old and new friends. I've sampled lots of career options, but never landed any one place for very long. About 11 years working in Libraries (DYPL-2 yrs.; NOBTS Library--2.5 yrs.; Penfield at SUCO--1 yr.; FPL--3.25 yrs.; FCS--2.25 years, and also PCS for 6.5 mos.; while also volunteering in church libraries at Bethel BC and Franklinville FMC) would have to be my record, with about 5 years as a reporter in second place (Pall Times--1 yr.; Valley News--2 yrs; Fulton Patriot--9 mos; FDNews.com--18 mos.)in second place. I owned and operated a bookstore for almost 4 years, at the same time that I was also a mail carrier. I also worked as a Nurse's aide for about 9 yrs. Four in various nursing homes, and five in a private duty situation. Waitressed and cashiered too, and even worked for the US Census Bureau in 1990.
