The Guardian Serendipity Tim,
(Superstar Mel Gibson gives a sensitive performance as Tim, a mentally retarded young man who falls in love with an attractive business-woman in her mid 40's. This is more than a May-September love story -- it's a study of human frailty, courage and devotion. The suberb cast includes co-star Piper Laurie as well as Awyn Kurts and Pat Evison as Tim's parents).
Television
Though I'm not an avid viewer, the Discovery Channel has shows of particular interest to me. I have also enjoyed the Quantum Leap series. When it comes to todays news, I prefer to hear it on the radio, but for a needed laugh, some of the old movies, Red Skelton, Monty Python, Topper, Hogan's Heros, Mr. Ed, Johnny Carson, Zacherley,
I Love Lucy, The Honeymooners,
(The Honeymooners "Young at Heart", 1956)
my latest love, Mr. Monk, and most of all, MASH, always does the trick!
The results of this quiz even surprised me!!

It's the late Sixties, the Beatles intact, Jimi Hendrix exploding and the Doors demanding the world. And on the East Coast, Asbury Park, New Jersey, will become the epicenter of a new brand of rock and roll.
But as The Red Album of Asbury Park unfolds, a boardwalk Liverpool lies in the future. Racial tensions, escalating crime and a fading reputation as a first-class resort have shaken the City by the Sea. Asbury is at tipping point.
Against the backdrop of a fabled town in trouble, 22-year-old musician Sam Nesbitt, who escaped a corrupt and dead-end life in The Perfume Factory, struggles to rid himself of his personal demons, past and present, as he pursues a rock ‘n’ roll dream.
The Red Album of Asbury Parkcan be purchased online at Virtual Bookworm, BarnesandNobles.com, and Amazon.com
Shadow Divers (Ridley Scott ("Kingdom of Heaven") has signed on to bring Robert Kurson's novel "Shadow Divers" to the big screen (though not in the near future). Plot Outline: Two wreck divers discover the hull of a German U-boat off the coast of New Jersey and spend the next seven years of their lives searching for the truth behind the ship and men who died inside it. Having dove with and painfully waited for the safe return of those who risked their lives on this adventure, I can only say that wreck-diving is not a "sport" to be undertaken without great discipline, and strength of body and mind. Every soldier of the sea has his or her own battle and if you lose, well, there is no room for error! This heroic true story will educate and shock you as the divers risk everything to solve one of the last mysteries of WWII!).

I'd prefer foggy mornings by the ocean, hot summer days, and being in a cathedral of woods (just not tick season) to most anything else. I love the sound of silence and music that moves me and sets the pace for running. I usually only tolerate loud music if I'm trying to stay awake driving, or at concerts where you inevitably need to wear earplugs if you want to keep your hearing! I prefer to eat vegetarian, enjoy candle light, massage, and clean fingernails. Body language is the key to romance!
I come from a small family and believe in respect for my elders. I don't smoke or think belching and "passing wind" for a laugh is funny (sorry, not a Howard Stern fan)! NOT a football fan either (soccer's OK my UK friends)!
