There isn't a more funky, jamming, flexible and disciplined band of killer players on the DFW music scene today than DRIVE. And they prove it time and time again.
Together, they achieve any musical challenge presented. They appreciate and perform every style of music. Whether it's funk, rock, jazz or blues, or when asked, they'll even tear into REAL country music, not the washed stuff on the radio today. They love to play and everything they play is off the charts.
And, when given the musical freedom they deserve, they'll be playing the most difficult songs they can find. The more difficult the song, the more they like it and the better it sounds. Everytime you see them, you'll notice something you missed last time you heard them. Maybe a drum solo, a guitar lick or a bass line that will blow you away. Believe me, the next time you hear them, you'll find yourself listening harder and studying hard, so you don't miss another note.
If you haven't seen or heard them, find the time, because they will be over the top before you know it - and they won't be looking back!
A FAN SUMMED IT UP BEAUTIFULLY: "There isn't one predictable thing about the music you three guys kick out. No matter where or when you play, people listen in awe and they love what they hear. You have the coolest selection of songs, and because you are killer musicians, whether you are jamming hard, feeling soulful, getting down with the blues, jazzing it up, or rocking the house, you three remain totally in sync. One tight unit, feeling the vibes and playing like it's the last chance you'll get. I'm your biggest fan. You all rock!"
Thanks to Janet Brown for her endless support -AMAZING ART - and spirtual guidance. She's been there for us (MIKE & CHRIS) since the beginning. Without her, this wouldn't be possible. She is one beautiful human being!!!

A GIG AT THE GLASS CACTUS?!!!! It can't get any better than that! I'll be there! (Here's a story...I went to see Bricks in the Wall at the Glass Cactus in April '07 and while dancing my usual crazy out of control style, I fell hard on my ass, slid across the dance floor and into the elevated stage. Feeling a fool I tried to cover it up with some body slam dancing until I worked my way up to my feet again.) I can't promise I won't fall again, but I assure you that all your equipment will be protected!
