Must have been fun to wander through the Beijing streets at night, holding hands with your Haagen-Daaz hottie. I know you're crushed by work now, but always remember that the exotic isn't too far off, and when this mess is done, you'll be able to travel far and wide. When one is bound to nothing, he will find the world boundless, and you, my friend, can still roam it all. Anyway, hope this inspires some happy writing for today, or at least somewhat dulls the pain of being trapped at your computer for 16+ hours. bleah. Keep faith! If you learned anything from Spielberg this weekend, I hope that it was, no matter your age, action, adventure, and romance can be yours. God speed, old man. Write hard, write well, and take solace in the fact that it will be over sooner than you know, and when it's done, you'll be able to embrace life again.

donna u. wanna	Nov 18 2007 7:30 PM Fraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I missed AIDS Wolf yesterday. I could've been, like...so hip. Oh well. See you at Monkey Bar with that case of Pabst. Bring Evan. Winnie and Nina and I will play on the jungle gym and there will be a dolphin on the slide that I'll have to tap gently on the pudge of its solf, fleshy, fipper-shoulder so that it wakes up and remembers to slide down. If it were up to Winnie, she'd probably just kick or shove it, but I'd be sympathetic to the dolphin. Its lost-ness would warm my heart, and there'd be something about it that would resonate with me. As the night progresses, you'd probably wring your hands together in a corner somewhere, and watch, silent and bitter and the dolphin and I laughed together on the swings. Later, in our apartment, you'd sulk as I'd try to console you, or at least try to placate you by reheating a slice of frozen pizza. In retrospect, things are probably better for both of us that I am not hip. Oh well. Still could've caught AIDS Wolf.

donna u. wanna	Feb 19 2007 7:23 PM the cats really hate the inflatable love seat. I left it upstairs overnight to deflate, and found that one of them had peed on it. I was devastated. spent most of the morning on my hands and knees attempting to scrub it clean and get the odor out. what I took as even more of an affront then the actual act of the cats peeing on it (because they're cats, they can't help themselves), was that Roman and Vida saw it and did nothing--they left it for me to find. we need our own place. 'cause seriously...that's not cool. arghh. every day without you gets worse and worse. (the chocolate chip scones on Taraval are good today though...)
