MY OLD FRIEND by TIM MCGRAW, My old friend, I recall The times we had hanging on my wall I wouldn't trade them for gold Cause they laugh and they cry me Somehow sanctify me They're woven in the stories I have told And tell again My old friend, I apologize For the years that have passed Since the last time you and I Dusted off those memories But the running and the races The people and the places There's always somewhere else I had to be Time gets thin, my old friend Don't know why, don't know why Don't know why, don't know why My old friend, this song's for you Cause a few simple verses Was the least that I could do To tell the world that you were here Cause the love and the laughter Will live on long after All of the sadness and the tears We'll meet again, my old friend Goodbye, goodbye Goodbye, goodbye My old friend, my old friend Goodbye, goodbye

HeroesMi familia, y la raza. La raza means anyone who believes that nothing is impossible with faith. If there exist a higher entity in the universe, then worries in this planet are nonsense. Here is something that keeps me going through the day. DESIDERATA -- "Found in Old St. Paul's Church"-- Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

   El bandido's Blurbs
About me:
I am currently working on a BS in mathematics at Portland State University. I play soccer, and hope to get a full-time job after graduation. some of my other interests are playing chess, pool, volleyball. I also enjoy the outdoors, and spring through summer times are the best. when not studying, I am enjoying a soccer match or making new friends. Here are some of my favorite quotes, "I do not know what I may appear to the world; but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me." "A human being is a part of a whole, called by us _universe_, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty." "I only know that I know nothing" here is what got me into poetry. WHEN I HAVE FEARS by JOHN KEATS, When I have fears that I may cease to be Before my pen has glean'd my teeming brain, Before high-piled books, in charactery, Hold like rich garners the full ripen'd grain; When I behold, upon the night's starr'd face, Huge cloudy symbols of a high romance, And think that I may never live to trace Their shadows, with the magic hand of chance; And when I feel, fair creature of an hour, That I shall never look upon thee more, Never have relish in the faery power Of unreflecting love;--then on the shore Of the wide world I stand alone, and think Till love and fame to nothingness do sink."
Who I'd like to meet:
Rivaldo,Maldini,Enzo francescolli, el pibe valderrama, Marco Van Basten, George Weah, Michel Platini, Negrete, Roberto Baggio, etc. Now in reality, It will be great to meet anyone who remains positive after any tragic life situations. this poem is for a special teachers Enseñarás a volar, pero no volarán tu vuelo. Madre Teresa De Calcuta

Kikin is absolutely washed up man, he needs to never go again. It sucks big time that Nery gets no playing time at Manchester City, but I think he's definitely due for a return to el tri. I would like to see Guille Franco not get hated on as much cuz he's the true 9 we need.

Yeah it was a painful loss, but it was a lot better at the stadium. You got the feeling that Guatemala just got lucky a few times.
