"I think Hollywood was at its best in the early 80’s and it was the films that came out of that time period that had the biggest influence on both my shooting style and storytelling. Think about some of the films that came out then;Raiders of the Lost Ark, Back to the Future, E.T., Rambo, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, & Gremlins just to sratch the surface. However, the rain scene in Grassfire was inspired from the rain scene in Chasing Amy (1997). In Bamboo Shark, the opening scene of Bamboo Shark was inspired from Braveheart. King Longshanks and movie studio mogul Morton Howell have very similar lines of dialogue and the scene was shot at similar angles. And no, I’m not being a copycat... it’s paying homage you fuckers!"Directors

About me:
....
So you're wondering who I am. I am multi-award winning filmmaker that just completed production of my second feature film, Bamboo Shark. The movie has an incredible cast, including Academy Award winner Mickey Rooney and should be completed by summer of 2008. I'm also the guy that made national news for building a life-size Millennium Falcon in my backyard. When I'm not making movies, I'm usually watching them, and occasionally I like to travel to satisfy a really bad travel bug. ..Untitled document· .... .. .. ..

"So imagine this deadly musical cocktail...I grew up on 80's pop music and then moved to a farm in Kansas where all the kids were listening to country music. I wanted to fit in, so I stopped dialing 867-5309 and started hanging out with friends in low places. Needless to say, my musical tastes are all across the board, with my favorite artists begin Bruce Springsteen, The Killers, Johnny Cash, and even Weird Al. Being a filmmaker, I have a particular fondness of movie soundtracks, particularly orchestral scores. In fact I currently own over 141 orchestral scores."Movies
Some of my favorite films: Braveheart, October Sky, American Beauty, Life is Beautiful, The Bourne Identity, The Shawshank Redemption, The Shop Around the Corner, Some Like it Hot, Big Fish, plus every film Hollywood has ever made.
