.. .. .. .... The (515) MANAGEMENT GROUP was founded in 2004 for the promotion and development of Midwestern/Great Plains Region based musical artists. .... The (515) Group's most notable artist to date was Iowa based FACECAGE. The band and myself, along with SLIPKNOT/STONE SOUR frontman COREY TAYLOR, founded the Midwest based independent label GREAT BIG MOUTH RECORDS. In the summer of 2007, FACECAGE moved onward and upward to international acclaim and I left both GREAT BIG MOUTH RECORDS operations and management duties for FACECAGE. .... In 2009, seminal Iowa artists JUNK POET and Omaha's Dark Dance pioneers DI-FI joined the (515) Group and are currently active in the Midwestern Region. The (515) Group is still involved in music related projects throughout the greater Midwest region .... My philosophy is simple: I believe bands in the Midwestern/Great Plains region should have an alternative to moving to the coasts for recognition. I believe there is a definite demand for services like business management, promotion, and artist development here in the region. -

Been a long fucking time so I am going to address this one as I do this comment. A promoter I co-booked a show with is wanting to do a few shows in Iowa (this happened when I made good on a promise of bringing Neutral Red in. You see I am friends with III, Xris and Daemon. And the thing here is Pitch Black Productions wants to reach to Iowa because of this show.)
The e-mail address for Pitch Black Productions is on Metal-archives.com and it's with the listing for Withering Soul. WS is our premiere black metal outfit. Chicago has a lot of black metal acts and a lot of death/thrash metal acts too.
