Plagues are a 5 piece Hardcore/Metalcore band from Manchester, UK. Using a mixture of heavy riffs, crushing beatdowns, pounding bass, uplifting lead lines, passionate screaming vocals and soaring melodic vocals to create there own unique style of Melodic Hardcore/Metalcore. After forming early 2010 and releasing their debut demo 'Beginnings' they soon started to get a following from working hard and non stop gigging. This saw them gain support slots with big bands, Get signed to Demise Management and winning over fans up and down the country. Now, a year on with a slight line-up change, they're about to release their first mini-album titled "Hopes & Betrayal". There's a lot of hype about this record and once it's released, Plagues will be pushing it by non-stop gigging, touring the UK, and even bigger support slots. 2011 is going to be the year of Plagues!!!
