51 lions was constructed, designed, and brought to fruition by a group of artists and musicians who wanted a place in which they could create. An expansion of its meager beginnings in the basement of the 202 compound, the studio commands 1800 square feet of an 1860's barn. 600 square feet have been dedicated to a live room, and 900 have been transformed into an old tyme saloon. (That's right, we said saloon.) By combining the knowledge and experience acquired from building the former 202 Lions Studio with their extensive experience recording with their own bands, these artisans have crafted a place where high end recordings can be made in a comfortable and inviting environment.
