  • Bio

Led by the father and son duo of Russ and Sam Nasset, the Revelators have been dishing out their hard driving repertoire of Rockabilly, Honky Tonk, and Rock n' Roll since 1998, playing over 100 shows per year across the Pacific Northwest. With the rock solid rhythm section support of Tim Martin on bass and Kenny Field on drums, Russ belts out soulful vocals and monster tone from his 61' Stratocaster while Sam provides harmony and hot Telecaster pickin' (the band plays Fender instruments exclusively). Their 2003 self titled release showcases Russ' excellent songwriting the band's American Roots inspired playing, with up tempo Swing (Louise), haunting instrumentals (Cool Glass of Water), tear jerkin' country (Those Hands), and hard drivin' Rock n' Roll (Working for the Man). At a live show, you'd better be ready to dance, because when the Revelators take the stage, they're gonna set the dance floor on fire! Expect to hear unique versions of classic Country and Rockabilly songs, original originals, and lots of stuff you probably think is original. They have shared the stage with, collectively and individually, artists such as Hank Thompson, Ferlin Husky, Cash McCall, Coco Montoya, The Kentucky Headhunters, Vassar Clements, Rose Maddox, and others. P.S-We'll play anywhere, anytime. Thanks for checkin' out the site! See you at the shows!

    Hey Russ,

We really enjoyed your performance in Dunkirk last night.  You guys do a great job keeping the people dancing.  Great music and tight solos and harmonies.
