CAPITAL R formed in 2001 in Spartanburg, SC under another name(Rudy). Since then they have rocked the palmetto state and the entire eastern seaboard. They toured in the summer of 2004 making it all the way to beautiful New York City, where they rocked CBGB omfug.
They recorded their first album "Here It Is" in Spartanburg, SC in 2003. It was awesome. At first, CR wrote ska songs...now they just rock out and transpose bitchin' horn parts over the rock. They call their new brand of music "rock with horns". They are currently recording their next album and hope to release it in 2005.
