I believe books and friends have a lot in common, the best ones can grow with you, steady you, and reveal themselves with time and devotion. Nietzsche's, Kundera's, Rand's and Soroush's are my favorite of all time. I also like things like the kite runner, a wrinkle in time, and memoirs of geisha which drop me seamlessly into another place and time when i can't actually get out and travel.Heroes
