A native of Northern California, Michelle Wolff's first love of acting, has always been combined with her passion for physical activity in the form of athletic pursuits. After completing her BA in Acting at Santa Cruz, she began making her life and building her career in San Francisco... in the hot bed of theatre and performance art.

While her heart may very well always be in San Francisco... the practical needs of an acting career eventually won out and she moved to Los Angeles.

True to form, Michelle put her full focus on her initial auditions and immediately booked a recurring role on CBS's Chicago Hope on her first time out. A series of recurring roles and guest starring appearances in prime time television encouraged her to settle into her new home and the prospect of building a promising career.

Not long after her move down coast, she found herself cast in her first leading role in a feature film which was to be shot in... San Fransisco! Shortly thereafter she was ironically living in a hotel, not five blocks from her old apartment.

Michelle's work in major feature film continues as does her work on prime time television. Her experience extends to acting in countless shorts and Independent films. Blessed with the good fortune to have landed a number of fantastic roles in gay and lesbian theme cinema and television, Michelle has begun to build a wonderful and dedicated fan base amongst her predominantly female audience.

Luckily, Gay men love her too, as she is currently starring as a series regular on the here! Network hit Dante's Cove. Initially, Michelle was invited on to the show as a guest star in season two. Her character Brit, the scuba instructor became so popular with audiences that the writers combined two guest starring roles and expanded Brit's character into a series regular role. Brit the Oceanographer who moonlights as a bartender was born, and now has an integral role in the fabric of the twists and turns of the popular campy series that many have termed their "Guilty Pleasure".

The creative marriage between here! Network and Michelle Wolff continues in the form of a starring role in a developing new series and several made for television movies.

Fitness and training both on set and off is one of Michelle's other great passions. She as been able to combine her two loves in the form of fitness commercials and infomercials as well as print-related projects. She holds a 2nd degree black belt and a teaching certificate in ATA Taekwondo and has high hopes to utilized these skills in many roles to come.

It is perhaps Michelle's avid love for any type of athletic pursuit that helps her keep a sense of balance in her busy schedule. She can fumble her way through any sport, but it is the aquatic sports that have always held her attention and given her a sense of freedom. She loves swimming and scuba diving and after having spent time filming in Hawaii recently, is working on her surfing skills.
