No, I haven't skipped town yet! Already considering other options, though. Maybe moving to a cabin in woodstock, ny haha. Anyway, I have un libro de aprendido espaƱol para ti... And I think I'll be in the city sometime this week.
We should get tea or something :)

Brandon,
Always so good to hear from an old friend, especially when they find themselves so happy. Your travels sound whimsical. I'm down in Asheville NC trying the city-life pants on. It's a cool little city with very good people--music on every street corner: old men on guitars, young kids on accordions, people dancing in the park. I've been going hiking every week on my day off in the Blue Ridge mtns--spotted a Red Tailed Hawk which was magnificent. Been contemplating my next move, with enough pocket change this spring I hope to get a National Parks pass and explore america's brilliance. Until then, I'll be enjoying the vibrancy of Asheville, catching some good music shows, enjoying local brews, and feeling autumn in my bones...actually, it SNOWED this morning (just a bit, but o my!) Be well, travel light with love.

Hey Brandon,

Good to hear from you! Things are going really well with me. I'm down in North Carolina working for the SCA on the Cherokee Indian Reservation doing fire education stuff. I've been getting to work with kids which is fun, also got my red card and might be getting structural fire fighter training as well, so its been a good experience. I've been doing a lot of hiking and backpacking on the weekends. I saw a mother black bear and two cubs the other day on the trail which was pretty sweet. I've been here for five months and only have one more month left then I'm headed back to New Jersey, I'm hoping to try and get a job working on documentary films, if I can't find one I think I'll apply to be an SCA crew leader. It sounds like things are going well with you. Argentina ! thats pretty exciting, I've always wanted to go there and check out Patagonia. Be sure to drink some Yerba Mate tea while your down there and let me know how you find it. I'll definitely check out that band too.
Peace!
Dave

Back from Mexico already? You didn't find any Salma Hayek look-alike to shack up with and help run her cantina? There's always next time. At least you got to see a donkey show.

I'm still in PA.

fact of the day: crunchy food is more appealing because of the sound it makes, not because it tastes better or anything?

and starches make you happy.

and peanut butter = heaven... for me at least right now.
