David A. Tobin aka Phoenix (New Jersey, USA) is a very talented and versatile singer who's voice has been a staple on the classic house music scene of the 90s. He now resides in Germany and has his own successful gospel music show that tours Europe. He recently flew to Florida to record once again with Ed The Red and what came out of that session was: My One And Only an awesome soulful R&B flavored house track. Ed The Red as usual did all the keyboards, drum programming and mixing work and David Tobin contributed his soulful, enticing voice, both lead and background vocals.

Did you know that Intro's first recording was house?

INTRO was originally discovered and recorded for the first time
by Ed The Red of Bottom Line Records in 1990.
Later Intro was signed by Atlantic Records and came up
with huge R&B chart toppers like Love Thang, Ribbons in the sky,
Come Inside, Let me be the one, Never again, Funny how time flies,
Feels like the first time. This is the exclusive EP by INTRO before they became a top R&B group.
The voice of young Kenny "G-Love" Greene is amazing.
Kenny also composed about half of the songs on Mary J. Blige's first album. RIP Kenny.
