He is also a very accomplished singer with a personal and warm voice. The album has Geir Arne gathered a handful of tracks of varying style and character, quiet and fast songs about each other and with many fine and thought-provoking lyrics. The melodies have a tendency to go a bit part in a minor key, which is an important feature for Geir Arne their way to write songs on. Many of the stanzas are written in minor, which in many cases creates a special atmosphere of the songs. Otherwise, it is also much danceable music here, but I would probably say that this is almost as much an album to listen to in peace and quiet as weekend comes to the floor. In other words, music that can be applied in many different contexts. The music style is enough in the borderland between shows, country and dance music, all in Norwegian. The album is also produced by well-known Steinar Storm Kristiansen is a very clever man when it comes to sound and music production. Steinar has also written a couple of songs for the record. Otherwise it is Tylden & Co., which publishes the record and this is also the first production to Geir Arne published in Tylden. The album contains a total of 13 songs which 11 of the songs are signed Geir Arne himself. From the record, I have selected the following three songs of the week presentation: Free as a bird - One of the faster songs on the album, a catchy swinglåt which is about unhappy love and the desire to be free and frank, if I interpret the text correctly. The lyrics and melody have Geir Arne created yourself. Did you - Also a quick swinglåt with a thought-provoking text that is all that one should not judge people without knowing them, and that it is best to sweep to his own house first. Geir Arne has written text and melody itself. My own angel - One more ballad influenced melody again, which also opens the album. A strong and emotional text about someone who has lost it as he stood near and the desire to meet again. Of the ballads on the record, I think this is one of the best, and even here it is Geir Arne is the author. The great strength of this album is enough all the strong and solid texts in addition to Geir Arne's trusted and personalized way to convey the songs on. Some typical dance band record it is not, but I think music will prosecute both the dance audience and those of you who like to sit and listen with a pint in hand. Geir Arne occur because a lot of pubs and small spots, especially around the Telemark district. Some of the songs stands out probably more than the others, and for my personal part, it is enough swing tunes I put the best note. Anyway, there is much good composer and author craftsmanship that lies behind these songs and the lyrics are probably much deeper than the traditional dance band lyrics are known for. Dice-wise, I ended up on a solid 5-is to Geir Arne Hansen and his new album. Good work both in musical sound, musicality and technical quality concerns, and a record that gives you a lot of good music for money. Dare well also to say that Geir Arne is one of the better male vocalists in the dance scene in Norway per day, and I will say that he is a highly underrated artist, something that certainly could change now that he is out with new album one of the nation's largest record company for popular music.
