Born and raised in a town so small it only had one stoplight in the whole county, 21-year-old Devin Cates bleeds country.
In his senior year of high school he joined a small singing competition without ever performing live and out of over 300 was awarded 4th place. At the event he was introduced to his soon-to-be manager Teresa Smith…since then things have not been the same.
Before Devin knew it, he was singing all over the place, opening up for country artists like LoneStar and Emerson Drive and recording his first CD in Nashville.
Devin Cates has performed live on television,
received radio play, sung at national sporting events, gained label recognition and recorded two CD's all in the span of three years.
