    Band Standing On My Own was found in the spring of 2009 in Jēkabpils, Latvia. Once upon a time a band formerly known as Blood Red Hope(Melodic death metal..alternative metal) began it’s journey to the top. It did not take long till they had their first chance to get on a stage. They did, but they did not have many songs. Then a man called NeZvērs offered his help for this concert. A song called “Rage” was born. The concert was great and the first play of “Rage” was even better, so Jānis,Ilze(EX-BassGuitarist), Toms, Agnis decided to make a side-project. They decided to play a genre called Metalcore. Immediately they began their work on new songs which were made not only with the elements of Metalcore but also Melodic Death Metal, Deathcore, Hardcore and other styles. So they found their style. Time went on,but everything was not all right. Our BassGuitarist left us and also the band Blood Red Hope, which soon disappeared. Then a path of light guided Kristaps(another Ex-Bass) to our band. Thanks to him we started to play more and a month later we had our first gig at club “Depo”. So we made our first appearance for the masses. We have had our ups and downs,but we keep playing and rocking the masses. Today we have had several good gigs in many clubs. And our plans for the future are big! And so some time later Kristaps left us. Shit happens. But now we have the experience, the thoughts, the skills. We will live. We will rise. We will rock you! Now-a couple of months later we are back. We have made a few new Demos and we will perform at a festival so we are getting back up on our feet.Also THE ALBUM IS OUT NOW!!! We did it.
