WHAT? WHO? WHERE?
54KOLAKTIV is active within a variety of disciplines, including dj’s, musicians, filmmakers, graphic designers, street artists, photographers, animators… The objective is to expand the cultural possibilities for young people in the city and build a creative working environment. Its not just the members of 54KOLAKTIV but we also try to involve as many talented people from abroad as we can.
The open forum www.54forum.com is an information source and online community for alternative music, design, art, film, photography, animation,… If you want to share some of your work, get the opinion of other people, just have some fun or you dont know what to do this weekend then dont hesitate to join us.
The name 54KOLAKTIV (pronounced seinkat kolaktiv, comin from cinq quatre = five four in french) originated from the Saint-Catherine square in the center of Brussels. For recent years this square has been the meeting place for the Brussels based collective.
