Doesn't seem too long ago that I hadn't met her or any of your family, and that I was listening to you tell stories about all of them. And now I am watching your best friend walk down the aisle. Im gonna go to the rehearsal dinner with your sis, so I'll make sure to represent you well. It's kind of funny that I am writing. You know me man, not much for the sentimental, and not much for writing you a message that you'll never receive. I come to this page almost everyday and I guess I just wanted you to know that I think about you everyday. I found something a few weeks ago when I was unpacking some stuff at my new place in DC. Im going to bring it to you when I am in New Madrid. It's a little present from the Street Gang:) Just a little something for a fellow enforcer. Turned 26 today and I guess I thought of you more than usual. I remember that we smoked a cigar on my last birthday after you got back from midtour leave. Seem kinda fitting for two lads such as ourselves. Never have been one for big parties on something as stupid as birthday. Best birthday I ever had was smoking a stog with your stupid ass. Don't know where I am going with this brother. Don't know why I picked today to finally write. It's funny though, most people are so ready to receive lavish gifts and praise on their birthday, and all I could think about is what could I give. Shortly after I started thinking about you and what I could provide you with on this day, being that I owe you so much. I just wanted you to know that my first son will bear your christian name. I figured that it is only fitting that something of yours outlasts me, and it might as well be your name. Slainte Brathair.
The Mother	May 29 2007 5:15 AM Dear Camden, Today was the dedication ceremony at the Portageville Armory. Your parents, grandmother, aunts, uncle and cousin Nathan as well and many of your friends from New Madrid and Portageville and some of the young folks stationed with you at Fort Campbell were there to hear the dedication and watch the unveiling of your name on the side of the building. The dedication ceremony was both moving and special and very fitting for our little neighbor boy. We miss you so very much.

I thought of you when they were hanging it....I often think of you my little neighbor boy...I often think of you....

It always gives me a good warm feeling and renews my belief that our neighborhood is absolutely the best neighborhood in the whole world. Today is a special day and has been for us since you came into our lives twenty-five years ago. Your neighbors, as always, are thinking of you and missing you like crazy. You were and will always be part of the twine that tied our neighborhood together.
