GeneralEverything interests me. Even the stuff that bores me to tears. But, I am especially fond of our fans.
Music..I am a fan of Morphine Angel, John Daminato, Arthur Bludgeon, Four Play Music, Jimmy Damon (world's greatest saloon singer according to the Sun Times), Analog Pussy, The Ukranians (a must have Eastern Euro folk act), Tiesto, Slayer, Voivod, Celtic Frost, Manilla Road, Mozart, Wagner, The Omegamen, The Orb and a bunch more.
Movies..Buster Keaton's The General, Chaplin's The Gold Rush, the original Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, Wolfman, etc. Soylent Green, Fight Club, Westworld, Prelude to a Kiss (yes, I really liked that movie), Shrek (I & II), Titan A.E., Vampire Hunter D, 12 Angry Men, To Kill a Mockingbird, Daredevil, Spiderman (I & II), X-Men (I & II), Last Tango in Paris, The 7-Ups and others.
Television..Stargate, Futurama, The Simpsons, NYPD Blue, Law & Order (most versions). Not much else. However, I am addicted to Battlestar Galactica. Any show that starts out with the destruction of the human race and then gets depressing from there is worth a gander.
Books..Isaac Asimov's Secular History of the Bible (Parts I & II), Holy Blood/Holy Grail, A Brief History of Time, Stranger in a Strange Land, the Ringworld Trilogy (yeah, it's cheesy, but it's fun), Man Plus, Childhood's End, Rubyfruit Jungle (I got forced to read it but really liked it), Expanded Universe (Heinlein's non fiction and essays are a fascinating - if occasionally illogical - look at the Cold War, women's rights and a whole lot more). More that I am forgetting.
HeroesAnyone who manages to stay sane.
