Stevie Wonder,Commodores, Earth Wind & Fire, Rakim (named my 1st son after him), Public Enemy, KRS-1, Run-Dmc, Big Daddy Kane, old skool cats like that. I studied piano when i was younger, so i dig classical music. Where i'm from there was only rock music around on the radio so i got into the early eighties rock bands. I love reggae and ragga music as well. I got mad respect for cats like Bounty Killa, Buju-banton and Barrington Levy. They are mad influences on me. Stevie's probably the biggest as he's in my I-pod on heavy rotate and my kids always request him. shot.kk

i'm told i sound like an angry fulla, but that's just when i rap.haha.but I sound like Donny Hathaway when i sing.haha. I sound like me when i ragga. I'm the south pacific's answer to Tu-pac or Biggie, or maybe KRS-1?haha. I got political raps, i speak my mind about Religous issues in the World, and I got reggae and ragga tracks too. I make it my mission to make original and creative music...........I reckon more producers,rappers, recording artists should make the effort as well.
You see the Rule is!?(as if you don't know)......don't bite!!!! When i started out in hip-hop, that was like the number 1 Rule!! If you sound like some one else........then your a biter!!Which means your style is unoriginal and your jocking someone elses personality and soul!
I think a lot of Hip-hop artists here in N.Z and abroad should check themselves......Be true to yourself.make the world a better place and stop rapping using other artists flows and talking about champagne, and what type of ride you have while you still living at home with your parents...... be yourself............
