About me:
Student by Day Asleep by night... Im 19, I often go to UCC and bug my friends, who range from malt-headed indoor scarf-wearing philosophers (i.e. people who never seem to have 5 cent coins when you need them to buy yorkies), techno-phobic ninja staff-wielding monks, and then those type who no matter how "cool" they play it, just can't seem to keep the ladies from running as fast as diabetics from a sherbert a-bomb. So enough about my associates...I study (and i mean study in the loosest way possible) Arts, yep, Ive heard it, "Another one of those fucking pilgrims!" "Where do they come from?" "i heard if you look at the mirror and say Arts 3 times, you fail your exams," and so on. I've come to the conclusion lately that we arent so popular. And what can we do to get these people back? I say stop selling them the best goddamn hash ever, become a teacher and destroy the minds of their children. Utterly foolproof! You've been a friend of our on Myspace for about a year and we havent spoken once yet!
Well things in the 9Lies camp are upto the 9's, so I will make this a quick one to let you know that the first ever 9Lies all digital single release 'Touch the Sky' will be available from today :).
We are totaly excited as it is not only our first official single but our first ever release since signing with Evil Twin Records, and whats more, its a secret!
There will be no whistles and bells or mad media airplay, because we havent actually told anyone apart from your good selves! Crazy?? Well its a little cog in a bigger wheel! All will become clear in the months to come, and your apart of it.

The song itself I feel Starts out as a moody mother, with a kick drum to match your racing heart, then it all happens, kicking up a rocking gear and taking you on a road trip lyrically from A to B as the songs runs, with twists and turns along the way. See what you make of it!
