Me Soloing/playing lead w/ Tito Gomez
Video of me soloing with Tabaco Y Ron
About me... yeah that's a real easy question hahaha. Well, where to begin. Oh right... I am a professional trumpet player based out of Los Angeles who has been blessed by God with the opportunity to bring joy to my fellow man and bring His music to the world with my horn (Gabriel's instrument). I have also been blessed with the chance to play with many amazing and talented artists (some of which are Grammy Award winners) and try to live each day, one day at a time, absorbing and learning the lessons which have been put in front of me; trying to grow and become a better man today, than I was yesterday and praying that I am better man tomorrow than I am today.
Who I'd like to meet: The question "Who I'd like to meet" will require a rather long winded answer so I'll try to keep it short, bare with me. I'd like to meet my great grand parents to see where I came from and to see what I might look like in the future. I'd like to meet Dr Martin Luther King Jr. because he did so much for all of us minorities, not just African-Americans. I'd like to meet Louis Armstrong because as a trumpet player and avid lover/stundent of jazz, I would like to know the person who not only inspired so many generations of amazing musicians but great music as well and as of late has kindled a renewed passion for my craft. I'd like to meet my future wife (one day... not soon! LOL). and finally (and this one goes to everyone out there on my space...), I like to meet some new friends just to make my life a little more interesting.
Brat! Hey if I could go out EVERY night I seriously would! Nah, really though, I start a new summer session class tomorrow and being that summer session just whizzes by...sometimes homeworks starts immediately on the 1st class. You know how it 'tis!!!!
