    Hanging with family and friends, late night bike rides, lazy days in the country, hangin' at the pool, backyard BBQ's, camping, lake trips, dancing, travel, crossword/logic problems (ok, yes geeky), playing around with graphics

    I enjoy many types of music, it depends on my mood and what I'm doing....country, rock, oldies, top hits. Sing alongs and booty shakers. I don't however, like rap or screamo (sorry Bobby)....just can't get into that.

    Not much of a reader any more, comes and goes in spurts. When I do read, it's generally self help books. Which, by the way, don't help; ). As to fiction, I LOVED the Left Behind series. Koontz will scare the pants off me and Grisham pulls me right into his dramas

Family and Friends Make My World Go 'Round



What defines and brings the most joy to my life?

My children! My family! My friends!

I have 4 beautiful children; exceptional young adults in every way. To top it off, they have blessed me with 5 beautiful grandchildren and 2 super son-in-laws.

And then there's a few very close friends and my somewhat large and wonderful family. If you know me well, my friends are my family and my family are my friends.

I am going through lots of change in my life. And as the saying goes....Life is about change. Sometimes painful, sometimes beautiful, most times both. With the help of family and close friends, I am embracing that change and looking forward to a new chapter in my life.

Who I'd like to meet:

Am always interested in increasing my circle of friends. Those that share my interests and those that can introduce me to new experiences. There's so much to explore and no better way to test new adventures than with others.

Honest/trustworthy people. Honesty is a difficult thing sometimes. I know that as well as the next person. I try to be honest in all that I do and want to surround myself with those that can do the same. At the same time honesty does not mean hateful or hurtful.

Positive/optimistic people. I 'strive' to remain positive in spite of what life throws at me, again, sometimes difficult....no whiners, no negativity. You are as happy as you allow yourself to be.

At this point, I am NOT looking for a relationship. In being honest with myself, I need to unpack my baggage from my previous travels before I plan the next journey.
