About me:
I do not use myspace anymore and rarely log in. If you'd like to contact me send a message and I will see it eventually. I'll leave my old profile up but I doubt I'll update my page after this point. ___________________________________________________ Above all else I believe we should respect each others' rights. Even if I believe that what you believe in is ridiculous, I will defend your right to believe it. Freedom is sacred to me. As long as your belief system does no harm, I am willing to put my life on the line to defend your right to follow that belief system.I'm 44. I am a steadfast atheist. I respect your right to believe whatever you believe, but please be a kind enough person to respect others and please, do NOT attempt to push your beliefs upon me. If you shove your views down someone Else's throat, you are committing spiritual rape. This is not a kind or loving thing to do. Look at what you're doing from another perspective and realize how evil those actions are. I know you have been taught that it is your duty to *save* people and to manipulate them into believing what you believe, but please realize that you are supposed to *save * people by the example of your actions, not by shoving what you believe upon others and harassing them. If people want to know what your secret to happiness is, they will ASK you. Then and ONLY then is it appropriate to tell them what your religious beliefs are. If you tell without being asked, you are spiritually raping people.
I am legally married, but not in the sense that most people are married. Let me explain. I am legally married but I do not have a romantic relationship with my husband. We are close friends but I no longer feel anything for him romantically. I refer to our relationship as a polyamorous one, but that's not entirely accurate, it is just the easiest way to quickly describe it. Most poly couples still have a romantic relationship with each other. I feel nothing for my husband other than friendship. I have nothing against monogamy and I had no problem being monogamous, nor do I try to convince the world that polyamory is the best relationship dynamic. I feel you should do what works for you and to hell with what anyone e4lse thinks. I decided to have a polyamorous marriage because my husband wouldn't stop cheating. After three betrayals I told him I refused to be in a monogamous relationship if only one of us was being mono. So, in a nutshell, we came to be a poly couple because it was the only way I could stay with him. If you are a cheater, trying to betray someone, you need to run the other way very, very quickly. As you can probably guess, there is nothing I despise more than someone doing harm to the people they vowed to love and protect. If you are a cheater and you make a pass at me, you will regret it
Although I am poly, I am not looking for romance. I haven't dated in years and have no burning desire to do so. I am open to friendships turning romantic, , but I am only open to someone I think is worth keeping for life, which rules out 99.9% of the people I meet. If a long standing friendship eventually evolves into a romance, that's fine with me, but I'm not actively looking for lovers. If you're reading profiles hoping to hook up for some casual fun, please move on. I'm not going to go for it.
My husband is in the military. We move every few years. We've lived in many places but haven't found one we'd like to retire in, so who knows where we'll end up. We are currently in Oklahoma. He did a stint as a recruiter here and my son and I are stuck here until the economy improves enough to sell the house. My husband is now deployed.
I have two sons and a daughter-in-law. My eldest son is 27, recently left the Air Force where he worked on the avionics of F-16's. He now works for a defense contractor doing classified secret squirrel work on F-16's. He and his wife travel all over the world and are currently in Las Vegas.
My youngest son is 16 and is incredibly thoughtful and kind. I homeschool him. (I homeschooled the eldest too). My children, (and child-in-law), are the most important thing in my life and nothing will ever come before them. I firmly believe your offspring are supposed to come first, even before your spouse. Giving your children a safe and healthy environment is your sacred duty...if you don't see it that way, you shouldn't have them.

On the Enneagram I score a 1 with a 2 wing or a 2 with a 1 wing, depending on my mood at the time. My scores in 1 and 2 are very close, almost equal, so they balance each other out. Some links to the test........
