Anything and everything short of being illegal. Ask my peeps, i'm the "down for whatever dude" including amassing a killer music collection, comics, dancing, reading, watching anything from tv shows to movies to the laundry churning in a washing machine....It takes so little to amuse me
Music
Any and everything, but I have a certain affinity for hip hop. Maybe cause of the whole Bronx thing or maybe cause it has a funky beat...and I like to bug out to it...
That being said, radio friendly stuff is pretty cool, too, although after you've heard "This Love" get a bajillion spins you kinda get a lil sick of the 5, if you know what I mean....
As far as artists go, right now I'm bumping: Maroon 5 (despite the hype), Jay-Z (yeah, I know), Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Common, Kanye West, Jem, Madvillain, the Roots, The Killers, Lenny Kravitz, Miles Davis, The Temptations, Michael Jackson, Destiny's Child, Marvin Gaye, Eminem, Tamia, Linkin Park (true confession...didn't pick up anything of theirs before Collision Course, but have been trying to get hands on Reanimation for months prior to no avail...) & Pharoahe Monch. There are many others, but then you'd probably try to jack my ipod or something. ;-)
Movies
Love & Basketball, All three Lord of the Rings films (no I didn't read the books and yes I know I'm a slacker), love actually, Ocean's Eleven (Clooney & friends, not the Rat Pack one although that one did have it's moments....), Shrek, Shrek 2, Bad Boys, The Incredibles, Bowling for Columbine (especially the little cartoon history of America)
Television
Chapelle's Show, NewsRadio, Charles in Charge, the Cosby Show, A Different World, Will & Grace, Everybody Loves Raymond, anything on the WB primetime (I'm a junkie), scrubs, Family Guy, Aquateen Hunger Force, South Park, the Boondocks (it's here...), er, the Wire, Saved by the Bell (the earlier high school seasons), Friends, the office, any one of those JJ Abrams shows (once again, I'm a junnkie)
Books
"tuff" by Paul Beatty, "Goldfinger" by Ian Fleming, "Because I Know You Don't Read the Newspaper" by Aaron McGruder, "The Broke Diaries" by Angela Nissel, "Wicked" by Gregory Maguire & many others....
Heroes
Winnie-the-Pooh - All this dude ever wanted in life was some honey. And he would do damn near anything for it. You HAVE to admire that!!!!
