In The Studio:

Following the success of our first release 'Gonna Be Alright EP' - of which the headline track has sold over 6000 copies on beatport - Andre Crom and myself have just put the finishing touches on on second EP and will feature four original tracks with a variety house house styles. Release date is set for October on Andre's Off Recordings (http://www.myspace.com/offrecordings).

Over the next few weeks I will be continuing work on the Two Armadillos album (http://www.myspace.com/thetwoarmadillos) with studio partner Giles Smith. We are 5 racks into the album now and it is starting to sound really exciting. Expect a mix of deep and eclectic house music.

I have started putting together some alternative tracks to form the first part of my next King Roc album. The sound so far see's me moving back towards my roots of early electro focusing more on broken beats and song structured electronic music. More info to come soon....

I am also working on an alternative indie, punk, dance album with Darren Farrow from Get Shakes. We have a few tracks in working progress and are planning to get the record together sometime in 2011.

I also have upcoming studio sessions with Glimpse to continue our collaboration project together. Our first record, The Flying Scotman, was released on Cocoon Recordings with great DJ support Steve Bug, Teifschwarz, Reboot, Sis and Shinedoe to name a few. OUr second release together includes two tracks, Blue Train and Run Away and is set for a release on legendary UK label - 2020 vision and we have completed our third release for Crosstown Rebels.     It would be fair to say you may have never heard the name Martin Dawson before... but you have probably heard some of his music. Maybe under his more well known production name - King Roc with remixes for S'Express and New Order, or maybe as Two Armadillos with a unique take on deep house and techno - supported by biggest of the taste maker DJ's that are out there like Luciano and Radio Slave. However if the name Martin Dawson means nothing to you now, it soon will. Already having released a deep house beatport no. 1 with Andre Crom and a massive techno house track on Cocoon and with forthing coming releases on Ovum, Get Physical, Moodmusic, Kling Klong, Session Deluxe and Off, this first year for Martin working under his own name has and will be far from quiet. His live shows and DJ sets have been seen all over the world and with his new sets of solo productions and collaborations ranging from the deepest house to main room techno, there is never any short supply of diverse and interesting club music.
