The story of D.B.D. starts in October 2006 with the initiative of Mihai(vocals) and Zaietz(drums) to start a band.The two quickly filled in the band's line-up with guitar players Tomi and Paie and bass player Cozma. Inspired by the new wave of American metal, the crew started working on their own songs and by summer 2007 managed to come up with some material. It is at this time that guitarist Paie leaves the band and is replaced by Oase. The band continues working and in the fall of that year manages to record the first song: Iconoclast and decide upon the band name "Pharisee". A debut concert would've been the next step but after months of constant rehearsals internal friction caused Tomi and Cozma to leave the band in november that year. It seemed like the end but the 3 remaining members soldiered on and eventually found a new guitarist, Gabi, who was eager to join the crew. The band started experimenting with more melodic influences and seemed ready to make its debut on the metal scene when it was dealt a second blow: Gabi is forced to leave the band due to work problems. After yet another setback the guys decide to take a brake only to reunite that same summer with renewed strength.The band takes another turn after incorporating Death and Deathcore elements in its music, with promising results. In July 2008 Alex joins in as the new bass player and the band starts working on new songs and a new rehearsal area. In December the line-up is completed with new guitarist Paul and the band changes its name to Days Before Disappearance (D.B.D. for short). With a new sense of determination the guys work on homing their skills and creating the most brutal metal in town. February 20, 2009. Radu(Slightly Elsewhere) takes on artwork duties for the band. On the 3rd of august 2009, due to several lacks in behaviour, Paul is kindly asked to leave the band. On the 14th of September, Alex decides to leave the band due to the numerous quarrels caused by his alcohol problems.On the 20th of September,Dr.Nick or Cristi from First Division decides to take on the role of the second guitarist, thus Days Before Disappearance taking a slight turn to a more down-tempo kind of metal. DBD welcomes you to the crew, brother! :D
