Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, 5 Minute Love Affair is a hard-hitting rock band putting a very modern twist on some age-old rock fundamentals, featuring dual-driving guitars, simply-solid drums and bass, and gritty vocal harmonies – reminding listeners of sounds ranging from Led Zeppelin to Nirvana to Atreyu, as the quartet fuses classic rock structure with the grit of the 90s and the crunching precision of modern metal.
5 Minute Love Affair is Brian Diamond, Jody Kevish, Doug Schmitt and Eric Hundenski. The guys are well-seasoned, all being former members of nationally touring bands. They have shared the stage with bands including Cold, Jimmy’s Chicken Shack, Splender, Sponge, Days of the New, Killswitch Engage, Sevendust, Lifehouse, The All American Rejects, Blameshift and many others.
Following some brief time off in 2007, 5MLA regrouped in 2008 and began writing material for their upcoming LP, which is nearing completion. In the meantime, the guys have been preparing for flight by spreading their wings around Pennsylvania at larger rock shows.
