5one is an up and coming contemporary/pop/rock a cappella group consisting of five male Millikin University music students (3 of which just graduated in May of 08). Recently, the group won first place in the 2008 Chicago Harmony Sweepstakes and consequently then competed in the National Finals in San Rafael, CA. They are hosting the 2008 Chicago Sweeps this year. (Go to harmony-sweepstakes.com for more info) Established in April, 2006, 5one accepted an offer to entertain tourists at Navy Pier in Chicago, IL that following summer. Since then, 5one has astounded audiences and encouraged musicians in the Chicagoland metropolitan area. 5one has released their first album "Get It", through Millikin's own student-run record label, First Step Records, also available on iTunes. The group is always looking for gigs, whether it be a wedding, dinner party, wedding reception, or even a concert at your school or church.
