As you may have heard, two of our Turkish Christian brothers and a German brother were murdered 18 April Wednesday in Malatya, a town in eastern Turkey. All of Turkey mourns with us over this tragic and isolated incident in a particularly troubled part of the country. At this point, no further incidents are expected. We are deeply grieved at the loss of these dear friends, and request your vigilant intercession for:
1). The families of those who lost loved ones: some of whom are not believers and do not understand why their family member has been killed.
2). The Turkish church: as it bears the loss of these dear brothers and key leaders, and continues to bear persecution.
3). For all of us who labor here in Turkey for the Lord: for our protection, and for open doors to share God's love and Gospel in the aftermath of these atrocities.
Thank you for your continual partnership in prayer and love for us in the Lord.
