5 is likely the most unique Hip-Hop artist to have ever stood in front of a microphone. Described as a combination of Nas, Outkast and Eminem, is lyrical flows, storytelling and content have left listening audiences dumbfounded. A product of South Florida, 5 has resided in Chicago since 2001.
In just under 3 years as a solo artist, 5 has amassed a massive and diversified catalog of over 350 songs, all of which he wrote and
recorded. His talents and productivity have led those close to him to give 5 the nickname, "5-Men".
Having traveled from the east to the west coast performing, it is apparent to all who have seen him and heard his music, that 5 is the future face and voice of Hip-Hop.
Along with being a prolific artist, 5 graduated from medical school in 2001 and currently is a practicing Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon.
In 2006, he published his first book of poetry called The Sound When Tears Fall. This first release is one of four books authored thus far.
Apart from his work schedule, 5 continues to be one of the most recognizable performing artists in Chicago. His gift for words combined with a distinctive style and unparalleled work ethic make 5 destined for only one thing: Stardom.
