Started as a cover band in 2006, and playing every nook and cranny in Louisiana, Five Star Fiasco used their many influences to add variety to every song they played. Quickly, this Louisiana based band became one of the most popular cover bands in the region, and their name became synonymous with a great night of music and fun. Their fan base grew from just a hand-full of their closest friends, to an overwhelming number throughout Louisiana and Mississippi. After sharing the stage with acts such as Confederate Railroad, Flickerstick, Zebra, and Bottoms Up, and being very successful with a mix of cover songs and their original music, Five Star Fiasco decided to take a step into the unknown and become an independent group. Each member of Five Star Fiasco has the same musical aspiration; to write and produce their own original music. Even though each band member has a completely unique personality, they come together to produce an impressionable experience for all listeners, and a sound very few will ever forget. It is an amazing experience to watch each of the musicians feed off of each other and produce music that is incomparable to any top bands today. The originality of their music and vocals will definitely turn heads on the music scene when their first album is released. Their original song lyrics reflect real-life situation and emotion that is sometimes humorous and at other times very deep and thought provoking. However, regardless of which emotion is spilled from there lyrics and chords, every listener can relate in some way. Five Star Fiasco is currently in the studio recording original songs. They hope to release their first CD by mid-summer, 2008, and also begin booking shows for the same time.
