Like Primal Scream welded onto a strung-out Cash
Glasgow’s Mark Tait, aka 5th And Pontiac is the latest in a long line of maverick one-man band performers. Using a computer instead of a bass drum strapped to his back, Tait has added a distinctly modern twist to the ancient image. On new single, ‘Tickity Boo’, he fuses the old with the new, like Primal Scream welded onto a strung out Cash, banjos and country melodies square off with the dance/dub beats of Vanishing Point. It’s weird. It’s wonderful. It has no right to work, but it does so very well.

Tanto las pruebas como el tema han sido grabados en mi casa, y el tema, de mil colores, mezclazo y masterizado por mi como buenamente puedo jaja (breaking your cranium y lunes, despues del desastre no han sido mezclados, son simples pruebas). La mezcla del tema De Jaen a Tarragona a corrido a cargo de Kike, el técnico de sonido de La Gesta.
