About me:
Join us EVERY Monday Night for Acoustic Open-Mic! Singer/Songwriters welcome and encouraged! Hosted by the amazing Christopher White. Begins at 8:30pm - Totally FREE. This takes place on the ground floor. Grab FREE games of pool and chill with the relaxing acoustic tunes by some of Michigan's best talent.
The Fifth Avenue Billiards is located in the heart of Royal Oak, MI. We have been the standard bearer for night clubs in the nation; catering to blues, roots, rock and billiards. In the future we strive only to improve in quality and service to our patrons.
From 1993, we have been voted one of the best pool halls by Metro Times and Detroit Monthly magazines, without interruption.
We are unique in the night-life experience, without compromising quality.
- We cater to sports fans without being a "sports bar."
- We offer pool in a cigar-free environment.
- We have good food, and great music, in a mature club setting.
- We house one of Michigan's best sound systems, as well as a brilliant array of computerized lighting for our live bands.
Our philosophy has always been to "give the people a good drink for an honest price." We like to keep things very simple, classy, and consistent. And, because there is very little turnover of staff, you will always see a familiar face.
The kitchen serves appetizers, sandwiches, salads and main entrees. Prices ranging from $4.50 to $11.95, include appetizers such as Old Skool Wings, Coconut Shrimp, Bruschetta, Spinach & Artichoke Dip and the house favorite, Chicken Tenders. Our salads include our very own 5th Avenue House Salad, Greek Chicken Salad and a Classic Caesar Salad. A variety of specialty pizzas complement our menu as well. Our sandwiches include The Classic Burger, Turkey Reuben, California Chicken Club and our Black Forest Ham Melt just to name a few.
Finally, being a live music venue, 5th Avenue has live entertainment 10:00 PM until 2:00 AM. (check the schedule for exact show dates) You can enjoy bands ranging from modern pop to reggae to classic rock to Chicago style blues.
