Real, Raw & Unfiltered Hip-Hop (Dilated Peoples, Brooklyn Ac, Gangstarr, Lootpack, Polyrhythm Addicts, The Perceptionists, Cannibal Ox, Tame One & El Da Sensei, KRS-One, Special Teamz, Boot Camp Click etc.) but the foundation of my music is found in Traditional Roots Rock Reggae (Bob Marley, The Abyssinians, Wailing Souls, Steel Pulse, Hugh Mundell, Sons Of Jah, Haile Maskel, Burning Spear, Culture, Morgan Heritage, Richie Spice, Sizzla, Chuck Fenda, I-Wayne, Lutan Fyre, LMS etc.)

Born in Dannevirke, New Zealand on August 11, 1981. I moved to Auckland at a young age due to my parents early enquires into The Twelve Tribes of Israel where music & the message became the magnet that attracted the family.
Found the connection with hip-hop at the age of 15 during high school listening to Luniz, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, 2Pac, Snoop Dog etc. which later evolved into more underground material such as Wu-Tang Clan, KRS-One, Organized Konfusion, Redman, EPMD etc.
My first encounter at close quarters with hip-hop was a group called The Lost Souls, a street collective doing basement recordings around 95' which consisted of four MC's (Truce, Maestro, Ninja & Thugsta) who were all active at the time from a elemental perspective.
Being friends with my older brother I got the chance to simply bear witness to hip-hop culture. A freestyle by Henesi, now known as Lyrical Bandit provided the inspiration I needed to start utilizing the art of Rhyme.
Elevated Souljahz, Mistek & The Mynority became the product of our talents during the most definite pioneering stage of NZ hip-hop.
At the time crews such as Dam Native, The Lost Tribe, Token Village, Boogiemen etc. were on the come-up and True School Hip-Hop was just sprouting courtesy of DLT, DJ Sirvere and Mark James (Slave). This is most definitely where it started for me as an MC/Communicator.
Keeping it brief, lets move on as the rest is history in regards to inspiration now the perimeters locked, the rebels revolution has been installed & we're ready to get moving independently.
Briefing on Live Performances: Hit many shows over the past decade including 3 shows on The Villajahz NZ Tour in 1998, 3 shows for the G.B.S Artist Showcase 2005 in Auckland City, Beneath the Radar LP Release Party 2006 at the Auckland Town Hall, September 2008 with Che-Fu & The Vector Wellington Orchestra at the Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington City, the House of Shem Summer Tour 2009 at Mangawhai Tavern, curtain raised & hosted for Silva & TheLikeFurious at Edinburgh Castle, 3 shows for Danjahras Goods "Hip-Hop/Reggae 101" at The Rising Sun in April 2009 and more... I've had the opportunity to rock freestyle cipher circuits from a young age with some of New Zealands real hip-hop talents such as King Kapisi, The Footsouljahs, Phatmospheric, Hazaduz, Silva, Ladi 6, Scribe & more. We recently created The Drop Zone "Unsigned Pilots" with the intention of providing a door for eager, young hip-hop talents from around Auckland, NZ. visit my blog for more information.
Discography: Featured with Nesian Mystic on the remix for their single "Unity" in 2002 along with "Mock Battle", the lyrically swift and concept driven NZ hip-hop joint from Che-Fu's "Beneath The Radar" LP in 2006, "Looking Up" for the One 5 International Showcase LP "City 2 City" along with "Street Lamps", the socio-political blindshot. Most recently recorded a verse for a track by N.C. representative Supastion entitled "Step Right Up" for the new Mixtape from One5 and Rack-Lo "The Sessions" along with "Back Steps" and "Brain Explosion" for the forth coming LP from Lyrical Bandit entitled "The Raw Element" due for release on itunes and possibly free download if you're lucky...
