Il gruppo torinese 60/70 ROCK BAND nasce nel 1990 e propone le cover storiche della mitica band inglese DEEP PURPLE. I brani sono riproposti con la stessa fedelta’ e con lo stesso "tiro" degli originali, ancora oggi gettonatissimi: Highway Star, Strange Kind Of Woman, Child in Time, Smoke on the Water, Burn, Speed King, Fireball, Perfect Strangers, Hush ed altri ancora, per un totale di circa tre ore di repertorio! In particolar modo i brani sono eccezionalmente riprodotti grazie alla formidabile estensione vocale del cantante PIERO LEPORALE e all’estro musicale del chitarrista FABRIZIO FRATUCELLI, vere rivelazioni artistiche del mondo musicale torinese. Il gruppo ha accompagnato il mitico IAN PAICE (storico batterista dei DEEP-PURPLE) in decine di tourn�e in Italia ed inoltre il fenomenale ANDREA-BRAIDO (chitarrista che ha suonato con Vasco, Ramazzotti, ecc..) che con loro si � esibito in una serie di concerti/tributo ai DEEP-PURPLE, i quali sono sempre stati la sua pi� grande passione musicale. Nel 1994 il gruppo realizza il CD "Remade in Italy" che si rif� completamente, in tutto e per tutto, al pi� famoso disco "live" della storia del rock "MADE IN JAPAN". Nel 1997 partecipano alla puntata di fine anno del "ROXY-BAR" condotta da RED-RONNIE. Il raggio d’azione del gruppo spazia ora cos� da Torino e dintorni a tutto il nord, centro Italia ed Europa; motoraduni, festival all’aperto, locali e teatri. More than 1,000 gigs up to today !!!! Vintage gear as original '70s DEEP PURPLE equipment. Sound and mood as '70s DEEP PURPLE gigs. The band action field is all north of the Italy, with gigs to the best bikers meeting, open air festivals, theatres and even very important venues, excpecially in this last years, after the 60-70 ROCK BAND had close collaboration (ever doing their DEEP PURPLE show reproduction) with the great guitarist ANDREA BRAIDO, much known for his works with Vasco Rossi, Eros Ramazzotti, Angelo Branduardi, Laura Pausini, Adriano Celentano, Zucchero and others. From 1995 60-70 ROCK BAND had also toured Italy with the DEEP PURPLE drummer Ian Paice for more than 50 gigs. From 2006 60-70 ROCK BAND started a close collaboration with Neil Otupacca (ex GOTTHARD) who plays HAMMOND organ with them in many gigs.
