Sasha Gaines

My uncle was a huge inspiration for me, almost as much as my grandpa was. Before my uncle passed away, he reminded me what it was like to have a father figure again, and I am very blessed to have had that. No one could have ever replaced my grandfather, and my grandfather will always be the number one father figure...and after he died, I was broken. Then my uncle changed his ways, and became a man that was very similar to my grandpa. And even though they are both in heaven now, I will always be thankful for the things they taught me, and the joy they brought to my life. I will never forget them, and never stop loving them. Now that they are gone, the mentor role has passed down to my wonderful cousin Jason. I love you man! You're the best cousin ever! My mom is my greatest hero. She has taught me so much, and dealt with all the crap I've put her through. She's always there for me no matter what, and she will always be my heart and soul! My best friends Cat and Mariah are also in my serious heroes list. They probably don't know it (but they will when they read this!) but they've BOTH inspired me to just fucking live life to the fullest, and not give a damn what ANYONE else thinks.(Yes I'm swearing...I'm passionate okay?!) Don't try to be 'cool' because labels like that SUCK. They've made me realize that life isn't worth wasting on trying to make the world like you...just be yourself, and you'll find the greatest friends you could possibly ask for...the kind that are always there for you, no matter what...friends like Cat, friends like Mariah. And that is why they are my heroes, and I will always love them until the day we both turn wrinkly and die from going SQUEE! over hot men one too many times! I LOVE YOU BOTH!! (Yes, I added Mariah to this little essay. Cat was first, and now Mariah is in here too because THEY BOTH RULE!)
